Politics Is More Than Election Day

Campaigns often focus almost entirely on the next election.

But lasting political influence requires something more.

It requires organization. It requires trained leaders. It requires relationships within communities. It requires volunteers who understand their mission. And it requires a strategy for what happens after the election is over.

How to Win Friends and Influence Elections explores these principles through the lens of grassroots political organization and campaign strategy.

One of the central ideas of the book is simple:

Political organizations should think beyond winning a single battle.

Successful movements develop people, relationships, knowledge, infrastructure, and leadership that remain in place long after Election Day.

The objective is not merely to participate in politics.

It is to understand how effective political organizations are built and sustained.
